An opportunity to gain new insights & perspectives
"At the edge between the known and the unknown there is a fertile place, full of possibility. Playing at the end can lead us to experience fresh new learning, creativity, joy and wonder"
Steven D'Souza and Diana Renner
Creative techniques are a wonderful way of exploring ourselves, our thoughts and our patterns. Enabling us to look more deeply and more intuitively into what has shaped our lives and what is getting in our way.
When we are truly ‘lost for words’ using creative techniques to express what we mean provides a unique opportunity to make new associations, gain new perspectives and delve deeper into the heart of the matter.
At a time when Resilience is needed by all of us as we navigate our way to the new normal, it’s more important than ever to find new ways of working and new ways of exploring our personal and professional development.
And one of them is the opportunity to work virtually and creatively.
Working creatively opens up a new channel within you, and your clients, and provides a new vocabulary with which to explore what’s going on.
Join us in our on-line workshops to creatively explore a variety of emotions, all of which are hugely relevant to today’s situation.
In each session you’ll participate in creative techniques that help build your Well-being and Resilience and support your personal and professional development. By experiencing them real-time and working on areas that are important to you, you'll feel the power of these creative techniques to open up new perspectives. And by doing so, receive some much-treasured time to reflect on yourself.
What others say ...
“What makes squiggles on a sheet of paper not just colour, shapes, curves, lines, dots and dashes? When you can translate them into a language that enables you and others to understand your state, your emotions, your thoughts, relationship with yourself and the world outside of you.”
“What a great time to explore my emotions and pick up some great tips on how to help clients explore theirs.”
“I felt it!! And in breakout discussion I started to really think about inside vs outside me or is there such a thing or am I a continuum a matter connected with the rest of everything. Heck. All of that from drawing with a few coloured pens on three pieces of blank white paper. Let’s all get creative!”

Who are the Workshops for?
These workshops are suitable for:
-
Individuals wanting to know more about themselves - what makes you tick, what your beliefs, values and behaviours are, where they came from and explore if they are still serving you well.
-
Coaches, Counsellors or Therapists undergoing their training or fully qualified, who are wishing to explore how creative techniques unlock a deeper conversation with their clients.
-
Mindfulness, Yoga, Pilates and teachers in other affiliated fields who are engaged with developing the whole person.
Don't worry, you don't have to be 'creative' to get the benefit from these workshops!
No artistic ability is required. We trust that you will be as creative as you need to be in the moment.
Drawing squiggles on a page is all the ability you need!
It's about using alternative ways, other than the spoken word, to express what's going on - using colour, shapes, writing and other inspiration including the natural world to explore thoughts and behaviours and find a deeper understanding.
For those of us in the coaching, counselling and therapy profession, creative techniques are a welcome addition to our tool-kit and one that Dr Pat Williams, co-founder of the ICF Core Competencies, calls an advanced skill, because, as he puts it, "it helps clients to get to the unconscious part without words getting in the way."
By experiencing each exercise, you will come to understand how the tools and techniques work and how powerful they can be in providing you, or your clients, with an opportunity to find new perspectives and gain new insights that help create a positive shift.
Workshops
In this current situation we believe it's right for people to pay what they can afford.
We would normally charge £30 for these workshops so as a guideline we suggest something
between £5 and £30, the choice is yours!
All our workshops are up to 2hours.
In each workshop we introduce a new and exciting creative technique to explore the topics below. We help you take a refreshing new look at these emotions and feelings to help you on your personal and professional development journey.
It's important for you to know that you will be experiencing the creative techniques first-hand (these sessions are not webinars) and working on yourself and your relationship with these topics. We ask that you fully engage in order to get the most out of our time together, as well as doing your part to support other people who are joining us on the day. In order to do this you will need both video and audio whilst on the Zoom session.
We run these workshops as small groups because we are working deeply together and we feel we all benefit from it being a smaller group.

About Christina & Lindsey

Christina Bachini
I have been working as a personal coach, team consultant and executive development coach for over 35 years. I trained as a humanistic psychologist and counsellor in the early 1980′s and worked with youngsters who were not school attenders. There I found that asking them to draw and doodle about what was going on for them opened up a conversation that had not been possible before. My passion for creativity and the difference it can make to the coaching or counselling journey has been part of my practice ever since. Over the years I've attended many courses on Art Therapy, Sand Play and Creative Arts - working with multi media, clay, fabric, threads, images, pastels, paints and metaphor - and I've successfully taken these skills into organisations and teams as well as working with them with individuals. I have also developed skills as an NLP Trainer, Hypnotherapist and Clean Language and Symbolic Modelling Practitioner and I am also an individual and group coach Supervisor.
I bring a background in understanding the deep structure of what is happening for people and I work to raise awareness to what is happening at the unconscious level.

Christina and I couldn't be more different. I come from a sales & marketing background in the Technology sector working for one of the largest global tech giants. My coaching journey started when I was asked to lead the EMEA IT Training and OD department. It was through this that I finally found my real calling, to help people find the career, and life, they want, and I qualified as an NLP practitioner. What brought me to creativity was a strong desire to find new ways to help clients unlock their thinking. I've trained in most approaches and theories from GROW to Byron Katie to Nancy Kline to Kristin Neff and still I felt I was missing something. Like Christina I wouldn't class myself as an artist or even creative, but the beauty of working creatively is that it does not require this skill of us, or our clients. The magic is in the 'doing' and externalising the topics that hold our clients back. And I've been successfully working creatively with corporate clients, CEO's, leaders and managers as well as individuals at a crossroads in life, for many years.
My approach is to help clients find clarity, focus and momentum using all, and any, tools or models at my disposal.
